And So We Arrive at the Farm!

Hi everybody!

Our first week with Nana and Poppa was an adventure! On Sunday night a really big storm came and blew a branch off the tree right on the power line.

It made a really big SNAP BANG POP! And then there was no electricity.

We went the rest of the week with no power.

We did get to go to Cutty's and go mini golfing and play at the play set in the mall.

We were ready to go to the farm on Thursday, but Uncle Jan called and said they had so much rain that all the roads to the farm were flooded and closed! (See Aunt Melinda's blog at http://www.BluejeansandCottonTees.com for pictures.)

So we waited till Friday when the roads were clear. Poppa and Nana still didn't have power, but we came anyway.

David LOVES the chickens. He still hasn't caught one yet, but he is trying!

When we're at the farm we sleep at Nana and Poppa's trailer. We eat breakfast there too, but go to the BIG house (Uncle Jan and Aunt Melinda's) for the other meals and snacks.

The first night my cousin Nathan and I had a sleep-over at the trailer. It was fun!
